The not-so-hidden jewel
One woman's love affair with jewellery has revived the party
plan idea. Cathe Meyer, who is based in Tauranga, established The
Jewel Company four years ago after working in the party plan
industry for 13 years. We all know that women love to buy products
in a social setting; and this seems to be especially so when it
comes to high quality, affordable jewellery. Who can resist
shopping with friends over a glass of wine? Let's be honest,
Tupperware didn't become a household name the world over through
retail sales!
Hosting or attending a Jewel Company party is a great way to see
a range of jewellery that you won't find anywhere else. Qualified
and trained consultants present the range before allowing guests
the opportunity to try pieces on. As Jan, a recent hostess, pointed
out: "It was so much fun, and nice to be able to shop for jewellery
at home."
The Jewel Company offers attractive incentives to women who host
their parties. Get the right group of girlfriends around for an
afternoon or evening of fun, and you could find yourself picking up
your preferred jewellery item for next to nothing. "I am now proud
owner of a gorgeous necklace set that I received for free!" said
Jan. The Jewel Company's direct marketing method means they're able
to pass on savings to purchasers in the form of great pricing, as
well as monthly specials. There are three collections in the
fashion jewellery line - Classic, Victorian, and Little Black
Dress. Each piece is individually hand selected from suppliers
around the world, and the jewellery is all nickel free and carries
a 12-month manufacturing guarantee. Swarovski crystals, creamy
mother of pearl, diamantes, hermatite, zirconias, rhinestones,
pearls in a variety of shades and beads ensure the three
collections are varied enough to suit a range of tastes. "Our
jewellery collection is diverse and caters for woman with varying
tastes. We make sure the styles are unique and made with the
highest quality materials such as real rhodium, 18ct gold, and
Swarovski crystals," says owner Cathe. While diamonds might be a
girl's best friend, we don't all have the luxury of open wallets.
Yet, on special occasions like weddings, we all want to dress up.
The Jewel Company products are classy enough that no-one will
question your style, yet cheap enough to avoid a terrifying
encounter with hubby or the bank manager.
The Jewel Company is a member of the New Zealand Jewellers
Association.
